धर्म ETHICS (loosely translated)

History shows that Man has repeatedly tried to define 'dharma' so that human beings can align their actions with that which is right. The Mind's search for what is right is perhaps the most voracious of all. A person's motivation to take a certain action gains immense strength when that which is right is aligned with what the person actually desires to do.

Of course, if the desire to do something is too strong, then whether it is the right thing to do may not carry the same weight. But that is a different story — one that does not concern you. You are here so that you can align your actions in a way that not just fulfills desire but also avoids the compromise on what is right.

Your mind's assaults on you when you avoid doing what it says is the right thing do is too much for you to bear. On the other hand, when doing what you think is right also implies that your desires cannot or will not be fulfilled, the mind's assaults are not bearable either. The crises this induces in you can feel too much to handle. The resulting paralysis stops you from doing anything at all. You know quite well how that feels already, which is probably why you are exploring this space.

You just want to negotiate your way out of all the conflicts that you are stuck with. You are not looking for empathy. Nor do you need any sympathies to comfort you. The only thing you are seeking to know right now is: "Can this get me out of my situation? Is there anything here that evolves me out of my conflicts? Or, is this just a rhetorical flourish from what looks like a digitally hosted monastery?"

The answer is: Yes, there is. However, are you willing to engage with It? It is quite literally The Negotiation of All Negotiations.

Do you have what it takes for you to be the negotiator who is resolved enough to go after that One Negotiation which really matters? To know whether you have what it takes, you may need to first identify where do you stand with respect to dharma.
